Copyright, as referred to in Article 5 of Royal Decree no. 38, exclusively regards the patrimonial rights linked to the exploitation of the work by a third party. It is the additional compensation that the artist is entitled to when his creation is being exploited by the purchaser or another third party through reproduction, publication, adaptation or translation.
Copyright does not involve the fee or cachet paid to the artist.
